If you are driving from central Hitachi, take the Joban Expressway (E6) towards Tokyo. After about 1.5 hours, take the exit towards Ueno, then continue towards Taito City. Use a GPS or map application to navigate to the address: 〒111-0034 Tokyo, Taito City, Kaminarimon, 2 Chome−19−13 浅草駅前ビル2F. Parking is limited in the area; look for nearby parking lots, which may cost approximately ¥300-¥600 per hour.

To reach Cat Cafe Calaugh using public transportation, start at Hitachi Station. Take the Joban Line (常磐線) towards Ueno. This journey will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Upon arrival at Ueno Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line (東京メトロ銀座線) towards Asakusa. Get off at Asakusa Station, which is about a 5-minute walk from the cafe. Follow the signs to the Kaminarimon exit, and after exiting, head towards Kaminarimon Street. The cafe is located in the Asakusa Ekimae Building on the 2nd floor. The total train fare is approximately ¥1,500.

You can also take a bus from Hitachi to Tokyo. Board the highway bus from Hitachi Station (日立駅) to Tokyo Station (東京駅). The journey typically takes about 2 hours.
