Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Hitachi, take the Joban Expressway (E6) towards Tokyo. The journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Once you reach Tokyo, follow the signs to Chiyoda City and take the exit for Sotokanda. Use a navigation app to guide you directly to 1 Chome-10-9 Sotokanda, where GiGO Akihabara 1 is located. There may be parking options nearby, but be prepared for potential parking fees, which can range from ¥300 to ¥600 per hour.

• Train

  To reach GiGO Akihabara 1 using public transportation, start by heading to Hitachi Station. From there, take the Joban Line towards Ueno. You will need to transfer at Ueno Station to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line. Board a train heading towards Asakusa and get off at the Akihabara Station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs for the Electric Town Exit. From there, it is about a 5-minute walk to GiGO Akihabara 1 at 1 Chome-10-9 Sotokanda. The total train fare is approximately ¥1,500 and the journey takes around 1.5 hours.

• Bus

  For a more economical option, you can take a highway bus from Hitachi to Tokyo. Check the bus schedules for departures from Hitachi Station to the Tokyo Station area. Once you arrive at Tokyo Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line and get off at Akihabara Station. After exiting the station, follow the signs for the Electric Town Exit, and walk approximately 5 minutes to reach GiGO Akihabara 1 at 1 Chome-10-9 Sotokanda. The bus fare is typically around ¥1,000, and the total travel time may take around 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic.
