Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Hitachi and take Route 6 (also known as the Joban Expressway) towards Tokyo. Follow the signs for the expressway and continue for approximately 90 kilometers. Take the exit for Sumida City and merge onto Route 6. Continue straight for about 5 kilometers. Once you reach the 2-chōme-18 Narihira address, look for parking options nearby, as parking in urban areas can be limited.

  • Train

    To reach Oshinari Park via public transportation, head to Hitachi Station. From there, take the JR Joban Line toward Ueno Station. The journey takes approximately 2 hours. Get off at Asakusa Station and transfer to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line. Ride the train for 4 stops and get off at Asakusa Station. From Asakusa, transfer to the Toei Asakusa Line and take the train to Oshiage Station (approximately 2 stops). Finally, walk approximately 10 minutes to Oshinari Park, located at 2-chōme-18 Narihira, Sumida City.

  • Bus

    If you prefer to travel by bus, you can take a highway bus from Hitachi to Tokyo. Board the bus at Hitachi Station and purchase a ticket to Tokyo Station (cost around ¥2,500). The bus ride will take approximately 2.5 hours. Once you arrive at Tokyo Station, take the JR Keihin-Tohoku Line to Kameido Station (about 4 stops). From Kameido Station, transfer to the Toei Bus (Route 23) toward Kinshicho Station. Get off at the Oshinari Park stop, which is a short walk from the park entrance.
