Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are already in Asakusa, the easiest way to reach Hōzōmon Gate is by walking. Start at the Asakusa Station, either from the Tsukuba Express or the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line. Exit the station and head towards the main street, Kaminarimon-dori. Walk straight along this road for about 5-10 minutes, and you will reach the iconic Kaminarimon Gate. From there, continue walking straight through the shopping street, Nakamise-dori, until you arrive at Hōzōmon Gate, which is located at the entrance of Senso-ji Temple.
