If you are driving, start from the center of Hitachi. Take Route 6 (also known as the Joban Expressway) towards Tokyo. As you approach Tokyo, follow the signs for Route 14 towards Sumida. Continue on Route 14 until you reach the Ryogoku area. Look for parking available around the vicinity of Ryogoku Bridge, but be aware that parking fees apply, usually between 300-600 yen per hour.

For those taking public transportation, begin at Hitachi Station. Take the Joban Line train towards Ueno. Once at Ueno Station, transfer to the Yamanote Line and travel to Tokyo Station. From Tokyo Station, transfer to the Sobu Line (Rapid) and head towards Chiba. Get off at Ryogoku Station. The Ryogoku Bridge is a short 10-minute walk from the station. Follow the signs for Ryogoku, and you will find the bridge in the Sumida City area.

Alternatively, you can take a bus from Hitachi to Tokyo. Look for the highway bus service that operates between Hitachi and Tokyo. Once you arrive at any major bus terminal in Tokyo, such as Shinjuku or Tokyo Station, you can then take the JR Sobu Line to Ryogoku Station. Upon exiting Ryogoku Station, follow the signs to Ryogoku Bridge, which is approximately a 10-minute walk.
