If you are driving from the center of Hitachi, head south on Route 6 towards Mito. After approximately 40 km, take the exit toward the Joban Expressway. Merge onto the expressway and continue for about 50 km. Take the exit for the Tokyo area and follow the signs for Minato City. Once you reach the area, follow local signs to Shiba Toshogu, located at 4 Chome-8-10 Shibakoen, Minato City. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that parking fees may apply.

Start at Hitachi Station and take the JR Joban Line towards Ueno. This train ride will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Disembark at Hamamatsucho Station. From Hamamatsucho Station, transfer to the Toei Oedo Line and take the train towards Roppongi. Get off at Daimon Station. From Daimon Station, it is about a 10-minute walk to Shiba Toshogu.
