Car

If you are driving from central Hyuga, head northwest on Route 10 towards Takachiho. After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach Takachiho. Continue on Route 10 until you see signs for Iwato Shrine. Turn left onto Iwato Road. The shrine will be on your left at 1073-1 Iwato. There is free parking available.
Public Transportation

To reach Amanoiwato Shrine by public transport, take a bus from Hyuga Station to Takachiho. The journey takes about 1 hour.
