Getting There

Car
If you're driving from central Hyuga, take Route 10 heading towards Takachiho. Continue on Route 10 for about 30 km until you reach Takachiho. Once in Takachiho, follow the signs towards Iwato. After about 5 km, turn onto the road leading to Amanoyasukawara. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to the cave shrine. The parking area is available near the entrance.

Public Transportation
From Hyuga Station, take a bus bound for Takachiho. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Takachiho, transfer to a local bus heading towards Iwato. The bus will take you close to Amanoyasukawara. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary. After getting off, follow the signs leading to the entrance of the shrine, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
