Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from Ise City, head south on Route 42 towards Toba. Continue straight for about 3 km until you see signs for Toyouke Daijingu (Ise Jingu Geku). Turn left onto Toyokawacho and follow the road for about 1 km. The shrine will be on your right at 279 Toyokawacho, Ise, Mie 516-0042. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that it may incur a small fee, usually around 500 yen.

  • Public Transportation

    From Ise Station, take the Kintetsu Line towards Toba. Alight at Ujiyamada Station, which is approximately a 10-minute ride. From Ujiyamada Station, exit the station and follow the signs to the Toyouke Daijingu bus stop. Take the bus No. 21 or 21A, which heads directly to Toyouke Daijingu. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. The bus fare is around 230 yen. After getting off at the Toyouke Daijingu stop, the shrine is a short 5-minute walk.

    If you are staying in the vicinity of the Ise Jingu area, you can walk to Toyouke Daijingu. From Ise Jingu Naiku (Inner Sanctuary), head south on the main road and follow the signs to Toyouke Daijingu. The distance is about 2 km and will take approximately 25-30 minutes on foot.
