If you're driving in Kai, head towards Route 134. Follow signs for Kamakura. Once you reach Kamakura, look for the signs indicating Nikaidō. As you enter Nikaidō, take a left onto Nikaidō street. Continue for about 1.5 km, and Kakuon-ji will be on your left at 421 Nikaidō. There is parking available near the temple.

Public Transportation
To reach Kakuon-ji by public transport, first, take a bus from Kai to Kamakura Station. Look for the bus service that operates towards Kamakura, and the journey typically takes about 30-40 minutes. From Kamakura Station, transfer to the Enoden Line (Enoshima Electric Railway) and disembark at Hase Station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to Nikaidō, which is about a 15-minute walk. Continue straight on Nikaidō street until you reach Kakuon-ji at 421 Nikaidō.
