If you are traveling by car from Kai to MOOMINVALLEY PARK, start on Route 20 (Kōfu Bypass) and head southeast. After approximately 10 kilometers, take the exit towards Route 16. Continue on Route 16 for about 30 kilometers, following the signs for Hanno. Once you reach Hanno, look for signs directing you to MOOMINVALLEY PARK at 327-6 Miyazawa. The total driving time should be around 45 minutes, depending on traffic. Be aware that parking fees may apply, so check the park's website for updated information.

To reach MOOMINVALLEY PARK using public transportation, start by taking the JR Chuo Line from Kai Station towards Tokyo. After about 30 minutes, transfer at Hachioji Station and switch to the JR Hachiko Line towards Komagawa. Get off at Hanno Station, which takes another 30 minutes. From Hanno Station, you can take a local bus (Hanno City Bus) that directly serves MOOMINVALLEY PARK. The bus ride will take around 15 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as they may vary throughout the day. A one-way train fare should be around ¥800-¥1,200, and the bus fare is approximately ¥300.
