If you are driving from central Kai, head south on Route 20 towards Kofu City. After approximately 10 kilometers, merge onto Route 141. Continue for about 5 kilometers and follow the signs to Chiyoda City. Once in Chiyoda, navigate towards 2 Chome-5-5 Iwamotochō. Parking is available nearby but may incur a fee, so be prepared with some cash.
Public Transportation
To reach Otamagaike Pond Site using public transportation, start by taking a bus from the nearest bus stop in Kai to Kofu Station. At Kofu Station, board the JR Chuo Line towards Tokyo. After about an hour, disembark at Chiyoda Station. From the station, it’s a 10-minute walk to 2 Chome-5-5 Iwamotochō. Be aware that bus and train fares will apply, totaling approximately 1,500 yen one way.
