Getting There

Car
If you're driving, head towards Toyama city center. From Etchu, take Route 41 heading north. Continue on Route 41 until you reach the intersection with Route 8, then turn left onto Route 8. Follow Route 8 into Toyama city. Once you enter the city, keep an eye out for signs for Honmaru Street. The Toyama City Tourist Information Center & Samurai Experience is located at 1-45 Honmaru, just a short distance from Toyama Castle. There is parking available nearby.

To reach the Toyama City Tourist Information Center & Samurai Experience by public transport, start by locating the nearest bus or train station in Etchu. Take a train on the JR Hokuriku Line heading towards Toyama Station. Once you arrive at Toyama Station, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal. From there, you can take a local bus heading towards Toyama Castle. Get off at the Honmaru stop, which is a short walk to the center located at 1-45 Honmaru.
