Getting There

    If you are in central Kanazawa, start at Kanazawa Station. From the station, head south on the Kanazawa Station road. Walk for about 15 minutes until you reach the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa. This museum is a well-known landmark. Once you are in front of the museum, continue walking south along the main road until you reach the intersection with Kenrokuen. Turn left onto Kenrokuen road and walk for another 10 minutes until you see the entrance to Kenrokuen Garden on your right. After visiting the garden, exit through the south gate and head toward the nearby Kanazawa Castle Park. Walk through the park until you reach the south exit. From there, continue straight until you reach the Yamachosuji Historical Preservation District, located at approximately 1.5 km from the castle.

    From Kanazawa Station, take the local bus number 8 or 9 towards Takaoka or Higashiyama. The bus ride will take about 20 minutes. Get off at the stop called 'Takaoka City Hall'. After exiting the bus, walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection at Kifunemachi. Turn right and continue walking for approximately 5 minutes. You will arrive at the Yamachosuji Historical Preservation District, known for its traditional architecture and historical significance.
