If you're traveling by car, start your journey from central Tokyo. Take the Joban Expressway (E6) towards Mito. After approximately 90 km, take the Kasama IC exit. Follow the signs for Route 50 towards Kasama, and then Route 293. Continue on Route 293 for about 10 km until you reach Inada, Kasama. Look for Inada Shrine Okunoin, which is located at Inada, Kasama, Ibaraki 309-1635. There is parking available near the shrine.

Train and Bus
To get to Inada Shrine Okunoin using public transportation, start by taking the JR Joban Line from Tokyo Station to Mito Station. This journey takes about 1.5-2 hours. At Mito Station, transfer to a local train on the Joban Line to Kasama Station. Once you arrive at Kasama Station, exit the station and catch a bus bound for Inada. The bus ride will take roughly 20-30 minutes. Get off at the Inada Shrine bus stop, and you will find the shrine a short walk away.

For those who prefer buses throughout their journey, you can take a highway bus from Tokyo to Kasama. This bus departs from various locations in Tokyo, including Shinjuku and Tokyo Station. The bus ride takes about 2-3 hours. Once you arrive at Kasama, you can take a local bus or taxi directly to Inada Shrine Okunoin, which is approximately 10 minutes away from the Kasama bus terminal.
