Public Transportation
If you're traveling from Osaka, take the JR Kobe Line from Osaka Station towards Himeji. Get off at Sannomiya Station, which takes about 30 minutes. From Sannomiya Station, transfer to the Kobe City subway and take the Kaigan Line to Minato Motomachi Station. The museum is about a 10-minute walk from the station. Exit the station and head south towards the waterfront, then walk along the promenade until you reach 1 Chome-6-2 Higashikawasakicho.

If you're driving from Kyoto, take the Meishin Expressway (E1) and follow signs to Kobe. Exit at the Kobe exit and follow Route 2 towards Sannomiya. Continue on Route 2 until you reach the Chuo Ward area. Use GPS navigation to find 1 Chome-6-2 Higashikawasakicho, and there is parking available nearby at the Harborland area. Once parked, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the museum.

From Kobe Airport, take the Port Liner to Sannomiya Station. The trip takes approximately 20 minutes. After arriving at Sannomiya Station, transfer to the Kobe City subway and take the Kaigan Line to Minato Motomachi Station. The museum is a 10-minute walk from there, heading south towards the waterfront area.

If you're coming from Nara, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Yamato-Saidaiji Station, then transfer to the JR Yamatoji Line heading to Nara. From there, take the JR Kobe Line towards Himeji and get off at Sannomiya Station. Follow the directions provided for drivers from Sannomiya to reach the museum.
