If you are traveling by car, start your journey from central Kyoto. Take the Meishin Expressway (名神高速道路) towards Otsu, and follow the signs for Kyoto. After about 15 minutes, take the exit for Fushimi Ward (伏見区). Once you exit, continue straight on the road until you see signs for Minamihamacho (南浜町). The Site of Former Gekkeikan Head Office is located at 247 Minamihamacho. There is parking available nearby, but be aware there may be a small fee.

For those using public transportation, start at Kyoto Station. Take the JR Nara Line train towards Nara and get off at the Fushimi Station (伏見駅), which takes about 10 minutes.
