Train
From Kyoto Station, take the JR Tokaido Line to Osaka Station (about 30 minutes). At Osaka Station, transfer to the Hankyu Takarazuka Line and take the train to Ibaraki Station (approximately 20 minutes). Once you arrive at Ibaraki Station, exit the station and head northwest on Route 171 for about 1.5 km. Follow the signs towards Daimonji, and you will reach the temple at 97 Daimonji.
Bus
From Kyoto Station, take the Kyoto City Bus #205 or #17 towards Osaka. Get off at the Ibaraki City Hall stop. From there, walk northeast for about 1 km along the main road, and follow the signs to Daimonji, which will be at 97 Daimonji.
Taxi
You can take a taxi from anywhere in Kyoto directly to Daimonji at 97 Daimonji, Ibaraki. Just tell the driver 'Daimonji' or show them the address. The ride should take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.
