Getting There

    Start your journey from Kyoto Station. Take the Kyoto City Bus #100 or #206 from the bus terminal outside the station. The buses are frequent and will take you towards the Higashiyama area. Get off at the 'Gion' stop (approximately a 20-minute ride). Once you get off, walk towards Shijo Street, then turn left and head towards the Takashimaya department store. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Takeda Street.

    From the intersection of Shijo and Takeda Streets, continue straight onto Takeda Street. Walk for about 10 minutes until you see a sign for 'Kodaiji Temple'. Follow the signs, and you will see the Entoku-in Temple entrance on your left after passing through Kodaiji Temple.
