Public Transport
If you are starting from Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Line (subway) towards Kokusaikaikan. Get off at Shijo Station (5 stops). From Shijo Station, transfer to the Keihan Line at Shijo-Kawaramachi Station. Take the train towards Demachiyanagi and get off at Gion-Shijo Station (1 stop). Once you exit the station, you will be on Shijo Street. Head east until you reach Hanamikoji Street.
