Once you arrive at Uji Station, exit the station and head south towards the Uji River. Cross the river using the pedestrian bridge. After crossing, continue straight along the street, and take a left at the first major intersection. Follow the road for about 10 minutes, and you will reach Hashihime Shrine located at Renge-47 Uji.

    From Kyoto Station, board the Kyoto City Bus #205 or #206, heading towards Uji. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes. Get off at the 'Uji' bus stop. From there, walk south towards the Uji River. Cross the river using the pedestrian bridge, then continue straight. At the first major intersection, turn left and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach Hashihime Shrine at Renge-47 Uji.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Kyoto. Start from central Kyoto and head southeast towards Uji. Follow the cycle paths along the Kamo River and then the Uji River. The cycling distance is about 15 kilometers and will take around 1 hour.
