Getting There

Train
From Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line towards Nara. Get off at Fushimi Inari Station (approximately 5 minutes). Once you arrive, exit the station and head south towards the main road (Keihan Street). Continue walking straight for about 15 minutes until you reach Hinonishidaidocho. Look for the signs indicating Hokai-ji, which will be on your right.

Bus
From Kyoto Station, board the Kyoto City Bus No. 205 or 206 toward Fushimi Ward. Get off at the 'Hokai-ji' bus stop (around 25 minutes). After exiting the bus, walk a short distance to the west along Hinonishidaidocho street where Hokai-ji is located.

Walking
If you are near Fushimi Inari Taisha, you can walk to Hokai-ji. Head southwest from Fushimi Inari Taisha, walking along the path leading to Hinonishidaidocho for about 20 minutes. You will find Hokai-ji on your left side.
