Getting There

  • Train

    From Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line towards Nara. Get off at Inari Station (approximately 5 minutes). Once you exit the station, turn left and follow the signs towards Fushimi Inari Taisha. Inariyama is located just a short hike from the shrine, and you’ll start to see signs leading you up the mountain.

  • Bus

    From Kyoto Station, take bus number 5 or 100 towards Fushimi Inari Taisha. The bus ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the Fushimi Inari Taisha stop. Upon exiting the bus, follow the path leading to the main entrance of Fushimi Inari Shrine, and continue your hike up the mountain to reach Inariyama.

    If you're staying in the Fushimi Inari area, you can walk to Inariyama. Simply head towards Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, which is well-marked.
