Public Bus
From Kyoto Station, take the Kyoto City Bus No. 205 or No. 50. Ride to the 'Takagamine' stop, which takes about 30 minutes. Once you get off, walk north along the road for about 10 minutes until you reach Kōetsu-ji at 29 Takagamine Koetsucho.
Train and Bus
From Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Line to Kitaoji Station (approximately 15 minutes). At Kitaoji Station, transfer to the Kyoto City Bus No. 50. Ride for about 20 minutes to 'Takagamine' stop. From there, walk north for about 10 minutes to reach Kōetsu-ji.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Kyoto Station. The ride will take about 25 minutes depending on traffic. Just tell the driver 'Kōetsu-ji' or show them the address: 29 Takagamine Koetsucho, Kita Ward.
