Train
From Kyoto Station, take the JR Special Rapid Service to Osaka Station. The ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Osaka Station, follow the signs to the JR Loop Line and transfer to the Osaka Loop Line. Board the train heading towards Osakajokoen Station. Get off at Osakajokoen Station after 2 stops. Once you exit the station, head towards the Otemae area.

Walking
From the Osakajokoen Station, exit the station and head towards the Otemae area. You will walk for approximately 10-15 minutes. As you walk, keep an eye out for the Osaka Castle Park on your left; you will pass by the park. Continue straight until you reach the intersection of Otemae Street and then turn left. The Osaka Museum of History will be located on your left at 4 Chome-1-32 Otemae, Chuo Ward, Osaka, 540-0008.

Bus
After arriving at Osaka Station, you can also take the Osaka City Bus. Look for Bus No. 10 or No. 30 at the bus terminal near the station. The bus will take you directly to the Otemae area. Get off at the 'Otemae 4-chome' bus stop, which is just a short walk from the museum. The museum will be a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop, and you can follow the signs leading to the Osaka Museum of History.
