From Kyoto Station, take the Kyoto City Bus number 204 or 93. Get off at the 'Oharano' bus stop. From there, walk approximately 15 minutes north along the road, and you will reach Sanzen-in Temple at 540 Ohararaikoincho. Follow the signs as you walk, and enjoy the picturesque scenery along the way.

From Kyoto Station, take the Eizan Electric Railway from Demachiyanagi Station (you can take a bus or taxi to reach this station). Board the Eizan train bound for Kurama and get off at 'Ohara Station'. From Ohara Station, it is about a 25-minute walk to Sanzen-in Temple. Follow the main road, and you will find directional signs leading you to the temple.
