    From Kyoto Station, take Bus 205 towards 'Kiyomizu-dera'. Get off at the 'Shinsen-en' bus stop. The temple is a short walk from the bus stop. Head east on Monzencho Street until you reach the entrance at 166 Monzencho.

  • Subway and Walk

    Take the Karasuma Subway Line from Kyoto Station to Shijo Station. Once you exit the station, head west on Shijo Street for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Karasuma Street. Turn north (right) onto Karasuma Street, then take a left onto Monzencho Street. Continue north for a few minutes, and you will find Shinsen-en at 166 Monzencho.

    If you prefer to take a taxi, simply tell the driver 'Shinsen-en', or provide the address: 166 Monzencho, Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto. The taxi ride from Kyoto Station will take approximately 10 minutes depending on traffic.

    If you are staying nearby, you can walk to Shinsen-en. From the Nishiki Market, head west on Nishikikoji Street until you reach the Karasuma Street. Turn right and walk until you reach Monzencho Street, then turn left. The entrance to Shinsen-en will be a short walk ahead on your right.
