If you're starting from Kyoto Station, take the Kyoto City Bus number 100 or 206. Get off at the 'Higashiyama Sanjo' stop. From there, walk east along Sanjo Street until you reach Awadaguchi Sanjobocho. Turn left and walk for about 5 minutes. Shōrenin Temple will be on your right.
