Not to mention about the amazing panoramic views from the top of mountains , it was a perfect refreshment I needed - a great experience to enjoy Kyoto from a different perspective. The distance, time, and level of difficulty were all perfect, and it was a really great refreshing time in nature within the city. While engaging in the trekking the knowledgeable guide shared not just about the ninja’s role in the war strategy, but also the way of using thier physical boy as well as energetic body, and idea behind their” jyutu”- their special skills . there was also talk about etiquette at Japanese temples and shrines, and the Japanese sense of Onmyodo (the ancient mystical practice of yin-yang and the five elements), making it a really enjoyable time! A perfect activity for family with active kids too!
