Our experience at Fushimi Inari was already beautiful, but meeting Yugo made it truly unforgettable. He is a Japanese university student who kindly offered to walk with us and explain the shrine, its history, and Japanese culture. His explanations were thoughtful, clear, and never felt rushed. What really stood out was how genuine and natural the experience felt — this was not a commercial tour, but a real cultural exchange. Moments like this are what make travel so special, and we’re very grateful for the time we spent together.
