Shibori fun
Not only was the workshop engaging and informative, it was a lot of fun. The instructors were very patient with us and while we communicated with our instructors in our limited Japanese, we all laughed a lot together. After visiting the Shibori museum, we left with the Shibori that we created. It was beautifully packaged for us by the staff to take home.

Peaceful historical art tour
Masa-san was a wonderful guide for us. More people should take this tour! If you are not comfortable taking the railway it is only a 30-min Uber. Give yourself extra time to see the temple nearby as well. Masa-san was very informative, left plenty of time to enjoy the peaceful garden, and acted as an interpreter for us and the local temple staff and Otsu-e artist.

Kyoto Arashiyama Bamboo Forest Walk and Chopstick Making Tour
What a lovely day!
We had a great time. Riko was our guide and she was lovely and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful walk in the bamboo forest and by the river. We then moved on to chopstick making which was really fun. We learnt a lot! Phoebe was super patient and it was a great end to the tour. We would absolutely recommend this. Loved it!
