Getting There

  • Walking

    From the heart of Gion, head towards Shijo Avenue. Depending on your location, you may need to walk along Hanamikoji Street, which is famous for its traditional wooden machiya houses. Once you reach Shijo Avenue, turn left and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Higashiyama Street. Cross the intersection and continue straight, following the signs towards Maruyama Park. The park's entrance is about a 10-15 minute walk from Gion.
