By Car
If you are driving, Aso Farm Land is located at 5579-3 Kawayo, Minamiaso, Aso District, Kumamoto 869-1404. From Kumamoto City, take the Kyushu Expressway (approximately 40 km). Exit at Aso Interchange and follow Route 57 towards Aso. Continue on Route 57 for about 20 minutes until you reach the signs for Aso Farm Land. There is parking available on-site, but do check the parking fees, which are typically around 500 yen for the day.
By Train and Bus
To reach Aso Farm Land via public transportation, first take the JR Hohi Line from Kumamoto Station to Aso Station (approximately 30 minutes). At Aso Station, transfer to the Aso Farm Land Shuttle Bus, which runs several times a day and costs around 500 yen for a one-way ticket. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes, and you will be dropped off directly at Aso Farm Land. Ensure to check the bus schedule beforehand to plan your visit accordingly.
By Bus
Alternatively, you can take an express bus from Kumamoto City to Aso. The bus departs from Kumamoto Bus Terminal and takes approximately 1 hour to reach Aso. Once you arrive at Aso Bus Terminal, you can take a local bus or taxi to Aso Farm Land, which is about a 15-minute ride (local bus fare is around 400 yen). Make sure to confirm the bus schedules as they may vary, especially on weekends.
