If you are driving, start from Fukuoka City and take the Kyushu Expressway (E3) towards Kumamoto. Exit at the Takachiho IC (Interchange). Follow Route 218 southbound for about 30 km until you reach Takachiho. Once in Takachiho, follow signs to Kunimigaoka Viewing Platform. The platform is located about 10 minutes (6 km) from the town center, and there is a parking area available on-site. Note: The expressway toll from Fukuoka to Takachiho is approximately ¥2,000.
