Getting There

Car
From Mount Fuji, take the Fuji Yoshida route (Route 139) heading south towards Shizuoka. Continue on Route 139 until you reach the intersection with Route 1 (Tōmei Expressway). Take the ramp to merge onto Route 1 towards Shimizu. After about 30 minutes, take the exit for Miho. Follow the signs for Miho Masaki Beach, which will lead you directly to the beach's parking area. Note that parking may incur a fee, usually around ¥500.

Public Transportation
From the Fujikyu Highland Station, take the Fujikyu Railway to Otsuki Station. At Otsuki Station, transfer to the JR Chuo Line towards Kofu. Get off at Kofu Station and transfer to the JR Tōkaidō Line towards Shimizu. Once you arrive at Shimizu Station, take a local bus (Miho route) that goes directly to Miho Masaki Beach. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes and costs around ¥300. The bus will drop you off near the beach.
