Getting There

Car
If you're driving from central Mount Fuji, take the Fujikyu Highway (Route 139) towards Shizuoka. After approximately 30-40 minutes, merge onto the Tomei Expressway (E1) and head towards Shimizu. Take the Shimizu IC exit and follow the signs for Miho. Continue on Route 150, which will lead you directly to Miho no Matsubara. Parking is available near the entrance, but there may be a fee of around 500 yen for a day.

Public Transportation
From the Fujikyu Highland Station, take the Fujikyu Bus bound for Shimizu Station. The bus ride takes about 50 minutes. Once you reach Shimizu Station, exit the station and transfer to a local bus (Shimizu City Bus) towards Miho. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Miho no Matsubara' bus stop. The total cost for the bus journey should be around 1,200 yen.

If you are already in the Miho area after taking the bus, it is a short 10-minute walk from the Miho no Matsubara bus stop to the entrance of the pine forest. Follow the signs leading towards the beach, and you will see the beautiful pine trees as you approach the area.
