Experience Gifu Castle

Getting There

  • Train

    From Nagoya Station, take the JR Tokaido Line towards Gifu Station. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Gifu Station, exit the station and head towards the East Exit.

  • Bus

    From Gifu Station East Exit, you can take the Gifu City Bus (Route 14) towards 'Gifu Koen' (Gifu Park). The bus ride takes about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Gifu Koen' bus stop.

  • Walking

    After getting off the bus at 'Gifu Koen', walk towards Gifu Park. Enter the park and follow the signs leading to Gifu Castle. The castle is located on top of a hill in the park, so there will be a steep walk uphill to reach the castle entrance.
