Getting There

    From Nagoya Station, take the JR Tokaido Line (Shinkansen) towards Gifu. After about 25 minutes, get off at Gifu Station. Once you arrive at Gifu Station, exit the station and head to the bus terminal located just outside the station.

    At the Gifu Station bus terminal, look for the bus number 16 or 17 heading towards Kinkazan. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to get off at the Keyakidani stop, which is the nearest stop to Gifu Kinkazan Squirrel Village.

    After getting off the bus at Keyakidani, follow the signs towards Kinkazan Squirrel Village. The entrance is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. You will be walking through a scenic area, so enjoy the view as you make your way to the village.
