Train and Bus
From Nagoya Station, take the JR Tokaido Line to Gifu Station. The ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Gifu Station, exit the station and head to the bus terminal located right outside the station. Look for the bus labeled 'Kinkazan' or 'Kinkasan Ropeway' which will take you towards the Mount Kinka area. The bus ride will take about 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Kinkazan Ropeway' bus stop.
