Getting There

  • Train and Bus

    Start from Nagoya Station, which is the main train station in the city. Take the JR Tokaido Line to Gifu Station (about 20 minutes). Upon arriving at Gifu Station, exit the station and look for the bus terminal located directly in front of the station. Take the Gifu Bus (Route 16) towards 'Kinka Mountain' (金華山) which takes approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Kinka Sanjo' bus stop. From there, follow the signs leading to the Mount Kinka Ropeway station, which is a short walk away. The Ropeway will take you up to the summit of Mount Kinka, where you can enjoy the beautiful views.
