Public Transport - Train
If you are near Nagoya Station, start by taking the JR Tokaido Line or the Central Japan Railway Line. Board the train heading towards Kanayama Station. The journey will take approximately 5 minutes. Get off at Kanayama Station and transfer to the Meitetsu Nagoya Line. Board a train going toward Nishi Takakura Station. It will take about 10 minutes to reach Nishi Takakura. Once you arrive, exit the station and walk towards the south. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the entrance of Nagoya Castle, where the Former Ni-no-maru Higashi Ni-no-mon is located.

Public Transport - Subway
From Nagoya Station, take the Higashiyama Line towards Fujigaoka. Get off at Sakae Station, which takes about 5 minutes. At Sakae Station, transfer to the Meijo Line and head towards Kamejima Station. After about 3 minutes, get off at Kamejima Station. Exit the station and walk north for approximately 10 minutes until you arrive at Nagoya Castle, where the Former Ni-no-maru Higashi Ni-no-mon is located.

If you are already near Nagoya Castle, simply walk towards the main entrance. The address is 1-1 Honmaru, Naka Ward, which is well-signposted. As you walk, you will see the castle grounds and beautiful gardens. The Former Ni-no-maru Higashi Ni-no-mon is located at the eastern side of the castle, so look for directional signs as you approach.
