From Nagoya Station, take the Higashiyama Line (light blue line) towards Fujigaoka. Travel for 4 stops and get off at Sakae Station. At Sakae Station, transfer to the Meijo Line (purple line) and head towards Kamimaezu. Travel 2 stops and get off at Kamimaezu Station. Exit the station and head south for about 10 minutes on foot until you reach the Tokugawa Art Museum located at 1017 Tokugawacho, Higashi Ward.

From Nagoya Station, go to the bus terminal and take the Meitetsu Bus bound for Tokugawaen. The bus ride takes approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the Tokugawaen bus stop. From there, walk about 5 minutes to the Tokugawa Art Museum located at 1017 Tokugawacho, Higashi Ward.
