Subway

If you're starting from Nagoya Station, take the Higashiyama Line (the yellow line) towards Fujigaoka. Ride the train for about 15 minutes and get off at Higashiyama Koen Station. After exiting the station, follow the signs pointing towards Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the station to the entrance of the zoo.
Bus

From Sakae Station, take the City Bus number 10 or 12. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the Higashiyama Koen bus stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the entrance of the Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens.
Taxi

If you prefer a taxi, simply tell the driver 'Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens' or show them the address: 〒464-0804 Aichi, Nagoya, Chikusa Ward, Higashiyama Motomachi, 3 Chome−７０. The ride from central Nagoya should take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic.
