Getting There

  • Subway

    From Nagoya Station, take the Higashiyama Line (light blue line) towards Fujigaoka. Travel for 3 stops and get off at Sakae Station. At Sakae Station, transfer to the Meijo Line (purple line) and take the train towards Nagoya Castle. Travel for 2 stops and get off at Marunouchi Station. After exiting the station, follow the signs pointing towards the Marunouchi area. Walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Nagoyatoshogu Shrine, located at 2 Chome-3-37 Marunouchi.

  • Bus

    From Nagoya Station, head to the bus terminal located outside the station. Take the Meitetsu Bus bound for Nagoya Castle. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Get off at the Marunouchi stop. From the bus stop, walk for about 3 minutes heading towards Marunouchi 2 Chome and you will arrive at Nagoyatoshogu Shrine at 2 Chome-3-37 Marunouchi.

    If you are near Nagoya Station, you can walk to Nagoyatoshogu Shrine. Start by heading southwest from the station towards Nagoya City Science Museum. Continue walking straight along the main road for about 20 minutes. You will see the Marunouchi area, and Nagoyatoshogu Shrine will be located at 2 Chome-3-37 Marunouchi. Look for the distinct shrine entrance as you approach.
