Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from central Nara, take Route 24 towards Sakai. After approximately 30 kilometers, merge onto Route 170 towards Sakai. Continue for about 10 kilometers until you reach the Sakai area. From Route 170, turn onto Zaimokuchohigashi Street. Myokokuji Ugatokushoryujin will be on your right at 4 Chome−1−4. There is limited parking available near the temple, so plan to arrive early to secure a spot.

    Start your journey from Nara Station. Take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Yamato-Saidaiji Station. At Yamato-Saidaiji, transfer to the Kintetsu Minami-Osaka Line and travel to Sakai Station.
