Getting There

  • Train

    Start your journey at Osaka Station, which is a major transit hub. Take the JR Hanwa Line towards Kishi Station. This train runs frequently, so you shouldn’t have to wait long. Ride the train for approximately 30 minutes and get off at Sakai Station.

  • Walking

    Once you arrive at Sakai Station, exit the station and head towards the West Exit. From the West Exit, turn right and walk straight along the main road for about 10 minutes. You will pass several shops and local eateries. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with a traffic light.

  • Bus

    At the intersection, look for a bus stop labeled 'Sakai City Bus'. Board the bus heading towards Zaimoku-cho. The bus ride will take about 7 minutes. Get off at the Zaimoku-cho bus stop.

  • Walking

    From the Zaimoku-cho bus stop, head south on Zaimokuchohigashi Street. Walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will see Myokoku-ji Temple on your left at 4 Chome-1-4 Zaimokuchohigashi.
