    Getting There

    Bus

    From Nara Park, walk to the nearest bus stop at 'Nara Kintetsu Station.' Take the Kintetsu Bus bound for 'Kyoto' and get off at 'Higashiyama.' From the bus stop, walk approximately 10 minutes towards the east following the signs to Chionin Temple, which is located at 400 Rinkacho.

    Train and Walk

    Head to Nara Station and take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Kyoto Station. At Kyoto Station, transfer to the Karasuma Subway Line and get off at 'Karasuma Oike Station.' From there, transfer to the Tozai Subway Line and get off at 'Higashiyama Station.' Once you exit the station, walk about 15 minutes east to reach Chionin Temple, located at 400 Rinkacho.

    Walking

    If you are near Nara Park, you can walk directly to Chionin Temple. Head towards the main entrance of Nara Park, then exit the park towards the east. Continue walking along the road until you reach 'Rinkacho.' Chionin Temple will be on your left at 400 Rinkacho. This walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
