Getting There

  • Public Transport

    Start your journey at Kyoto Station. Take the Karasuma Line (subway) towards Kokusaikaikan. Get off at the Sanjo Station, which is approximately a 10-minute ride. From Sanjo Station, take Exit 1. Once you exit, walk east along Sanjo Street until you reach the intersection with Shijo Street. Here, turn left and walk north for about 5 minutes until you reach the Shirakawa Canal. Cross the canal and you will see a small street that leads to Ishibe Kōji Road.

    If you are already in the Gion area, you can walk to Ishibe Kōji Road. From Yasaka Shrine, head west towards the main road, and then turn right onto Hanamikoji Street.
