    From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line. Board a train bound for Kyoto and ride for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at Uji Station. Once you exit Uji Station, turn left and walk straight for about 10 minutes along the main road until you reach the Eishin-in Temple.

    From Nara City, you can take the Nara Kotsu Bus to Uji. Catch the bus from Nara Station, and it will take around 45 minutes. Get off at the Uji Main Street bus stop. From there, walk straight along the main street for about 15 minutes until you reach Eishin-in Temple.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle at one of the rental shops in Nara. Head towards the Uji area, which is about 14 kilometers away. Follow the designated bike paths and roads towards Uji. Once you arrive in Uji, look for signs directing you to Eishin-in Temple, which is about 5 minutes from the center of Uji.
