Getting There

Train
From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line towards Osaka Namba. Get off at Osaka Namba Station. From there, transfer to the Osaka Metro (Subway) Midosuji Line and ride towards Senri-Chuo. Get off at Shinsaibashi Station. Exit the station and walk towards Sennichimae Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Otemae Street, then turn left. Walk approximately 10 minutes, and you will arrive at the Osaka Museum of History at 4 Chome-1-32 Otemae.

From Nara Station, take the Nara Kotsu Bus bound for Osaka Station. The bus ride will take about 50 minutes. Get off at the Osaka Station Bus Terminal. From there, walk to Osaka Station and enter the Osaka Metro (Subway). Take the Midosuji Line towards Senri-Chuo and get off at Shinsaibashi Station. Exit the station and walk towards Sennichimae Street. Continue straight until you reach Otemae Street, then turn left. Walk for about 10 minutes to reach the Osaka Museum of History.

If you are near Nara Park, you can walk towards Kintetsu Nara Station. From there, follow the previous instructions for taking the Kintetsu Nara Line to Osaka Namba Station, then transfer to the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line to Shinsaibashi Station. After exiting the station, walk towards Sennichimae Street and turn left at Otemae Street to reach the museum.
